Guiding principles

Inclusivity and diversity – voluntary membership will be open to all hospital-affiliated Canadian dentists, other interested Canadian dentists and Canadian dental students and residents

Respect – each member’s unique perspective will be valued. Decisions made by the association will be accepted and supported by all members. The Association will speak with one voice.

Collaboration – Knowledge and information will be freely shared.

Decision making – decisions will be transparent and evidence-based. While formal decision making of the members will be by majority vote, consensus will be sought at all times.

Accountability – due diligence and ethical conduct will be exercised in all matters
